New room - ventilation question

Hello all,

I'm in the midst of setting up a new space. I was thinking of ventilation and stealth. The room is a very long term safe rental but I can't really build a ventilation duct out or anything. I was thinking of the in room air-condiioners that have the ducting with an intake and outlet that you leave in a window and I do have a decent exit window.

A setup like that would provide an obvious reason for the duct being there and I could simply set up my exhaust to replicate what. In the process I realized that kind of air conditioner would actually make a good solution for cooling as well.

The question then is if I use that tape of ac and use connect the exhaust ducting with the exhaust for the ac how will the fact that my grow room exhaust fan will be more powerful than the ac exhaust?

I know I should crunch the numbers on the cfm of both but I'm really stoned now so though I would start a discussion first as I'm also interested in general feedback on this idea of using this ac and an inline fan branching onto a single exhaust port that would already exist for, say bedroom cooling, and therefore increases stealth for the home grower.

Grow the revolution,
Hobbes

Using A/C and venting at the same time does not seem like a good idea. The A/C cools air by recirculating it, the vent works by clearing air from the room so fresh air replaces it. By running both you just have the vent remove the air that the A/C just cooled down. If you need the A/C then you should consider sealing the room and using CO2. Only exhaust would be the A/C's hot air exhaust.
