I been wondering what makes plants grow more is it the wider the pot or the deeper
the pot..?

I read that they grow taller the deeper the pot/medium...

Vote for your choice and give your reasons why...

if i have a 5ltr pot which is deep but narrow the roots go deep and the plant is strong enough to not flop over, i can get 25 per m2
if i have a 5ltr pot which is shallow but wide the roots aren't as deep and the plants can flop over onto each other, i cant fit as many plants per m2 either so narrow deep pots for the win!!

outdoor not worried about room,but indoor i think deep over wide.i got plenty of head room but width plays a role. Can fit more tall&deep than short&wide. Imo.

OK I have a four gallon wide pot and a 1gal deep narrow pot, i will be taking all the wide pots back for that reason... thanks

i use 10 gal and 19 gal indoors so that would be deep and wide
