so we moved, new place has a grow room. I replaced the old dirt with new dirt and threw some plants inside, few weeks go by and I see problems I never seen before......

I think I have russet mites, actually I’m pretty sure I have russet mites.
I’m about a week into flower, I’m feeling pretty fucked.

What can I do? I need medical not poisonous weed, it for my pops, he has cancer and needs oil.

I’m just so bummed, never had russet mites before, but everything I read says I’m fucked and once you have em you got em forever.

Now what?

Check this out. You are early in flower.

ORGANIC INSECTICIDES
If neem oil isn’t enough to protect your plants from mites, we recommend using a natural insecticide like:

  • Essentria IC3: Essentria IC3 is made up of a mix of horticultural oils designed to manage a variety of garden pests. It can be applied directly to the plants using a mister and should be reapplied every 8-12 hours until the mites disappear.
  • Spinosad: Spinosad is an organic insecticide that kills pests on contact. Try applying it directly to the affected parts of your plant once a day for multiple days until the mites are gone.
Otherwise there are biological weapons like predators. Personally I would go with poison.

Thanks, Can anyone confirm I’m fighting russet? Attached is the SAME LEAF, the top kinda looks fine but then the bottom is being like ate away but hard to see the damage until light under the leaf. I can’t see any fucking bugs but obviously there is? I’ve had spider mites in the past, this ain’t them.

I have a good scope, still can’t see anything moving, I do see tiny weird crystals but thought it was Edema?

Thanks 8n advance.

How about diatomaceous earth? I use it for larger pests, but I did a quick google and it has some effectiveness against broad and russet mites. Maybe won't do much on its own, but in conjunction with whatever else you're doing or plan on doing it could help. And it's safe, cheap, and can be ingested safely (food-grade).
