I got a Blue Widow as a freebie last year. Grew it and cloned it a few times. Nothing bad to say about it, it was a decent smoke and good yield as I recall.

loving alphakronik's esibear. All my patients cant get enough. My keeper pheno smells like lime peels, and yields so heavy.

My advice is to avoid Dutch genetics. They are not the most scrupulous set of breeders out there - for example Soma's NYC Diesel has no actual Diesel genetics in it's line. If you want foreign genetics, Spanish breeders are better than the Dutch. American breeders are really where it's at - folks like Bodhi and Karma Genetics and Gage Green are doing really cool things with their lines. As Budwich mentions, Alphakronic is getting a lotta respect for his gear. Stay away from the mug shop and check out what's going on @ Cannazon or The Seed Depot, IMO.

How do you determine which breeders are dutch? and whats the mug shop and why are those other seed shops better?
what are your favorite company's and strains for indica's

Me neither, but hoping someone will chime in on Sannies because I've heard the seeds are good, and would love to get feedback

I tried THC bomb from Bomb seeds. Ordered regular seeds but i think they sent me feminized as all were female and very similar. Anyhow, its a hybrid, but flowers fast like an indica and yields like a sativa. Very easy to grow, very strong, incredible yield. It was one of my favorites. The smell was a little sweet, with some skunkyness. The taste was smooth and delicious, also sweet. Also grew it outside, easily the best producer. Just need to watch out because those buds are so dense they can be prone to mold outside. I really liked the strain

Sannies and crew does good work. They seem to be one of the few companies still doing the proper backcrossing before releasing seeds. Gotta agree with MB, American breeders are doing good things right now. BUT..Know that you gotta do some pheno hunting. Rare dankness, BOG, KOS, top dawg, and sin city seeds are a few other breeders that have been producing fire genetics IMO.. Like I said, Im on Alphakronik at the moment. Mug shop is attitude.

Mug shop is attitude.
Folks call it the mug shop because their cheapest guaranteed shipping involves buying a mug. The other guaranteed option is to buy a cheap cotton tshirt that shrinks hobbit-size the first time you wash it.

I'd also add Bodhiseeds, Hazeman and Green Beanz Seeds to budwich's list.

Ever run Jaws Gear? I have heard some hype. Seems to always be sold out at zon

I'm currently doing a test of his Banana Doja (Jaws Banana Kush x Outlaw's Double Purp Dojo). It's on about day 30. Looks sativa dominant but the buds are chunky round indica dominant clusters of sweet smelling goodness. Lots of frost for 30 days.

Jaws is a fixture on Cannetics, which is the more private hangout for growers who sell on the zon. A few months back he had some financial problems and Mr. C took a bunch of gear that Jaws had sent in to be given as freebies and auctioned it off. Folks at the zon kicked in some pretty serious cash cuz that's the type of folks on that board, which in turn fed the hype for the later auctions. If you remind me, i'll post a smoke report of the BanDoja in a couple months when it's down and properly cured.

I can only speak for myself here, but I would really like to see more of your work MB on here .... such as what you refer to as a smoke report, and such. I am truly amazed at the fine work that you do for the MMJ Community, and follow your posts on here with a lot of zeal. The same goes for my dear friend on here and in person, Budwich :-) It makes it easier for us noobies to learn IMHO. Thanks for the share of knowledge !

like the looks of that aliendawg. you ever feel like sharing clones you let me know.
That was the keeper of the batch. It does throw nanners late in flower, which is fairly common for Chemdawg strains. May have been a nutrient issue - i was running from seed and the buds stretched a bit and didn't really form colas. I rooted a couple cuts from it and plan to run one with lower nute levels and make the other into a mother, so i should be able to take cuts before long. Drop me a line in a month or so to remind me. You in the H2Oville area?
