whats up y’all. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well! I’m a new member here and just wanted to say hi. I’m a combat veteran in my mid 30s and absolutely love growing this plant. My passion is helping other veterans or really anyone who wants to change their life and grow their own medicine. I’ve found that the therapy I get from growing is the best I’ve ever had and it’s free lol. If you ever have a question or just wanna talk, I’ll always be here

That's funny, but true. Welcome soldierz to RIU. This is a good site to learn from. There are a couple of assholes to avoid, mainly one who's user name starts with K, but you'll pick him out quick. Good looking grows you have there.

I’m diggin y’all already Everyone seems more then helpful here. I have seen some folks ask for advice then argue about it is well lol. I’m just here to continue to learn about this plant and the medicine it can produce. While making some friends in the process. If there is any veterans that read this, I’m always here to help. No matter what the issue is and that goes for everyone else as well. I’ve had the please of having a mentor who is in his mid 60s and taught me that this community helps each other and takes care of their own. Or at least that’s how it use to be and I’m just trying to do my part in helping in any way possible. Y’all are awesome

And I'm totally with you that in this community we all have a common bond, and so we all should be a little closer and take care of each other and help each other out. I like to help when I can too, because it can be stressful when you first start, at least for me. After all we're just doing it for the cause.

Exactly! When I first started growing I felt like I was trying to figure out rocket science. I read book after book, did research online and still needed help. So having other folks who have been through it was very helpful. I’ve found that I can read and read but I won’t really learn until I do it with my own two hands. How I learned was by making mistakes and correcting them over time. I don’t believe in such a thing as a “master” grower as we can all continue to learn about this plant. I’ve made some great friends in this community and really enjoy meeting other growers. We can all help each other achieve greatness
