New Heatsink Concept

Hi Guys
Looking at fleshing out our range and heatsinks seem to be an area that is covered but generates a lot of questions that reflects the lack ready made solutions. So I am posing the question are these units below the type of sink that would make sense

give me some feedback

165mm (6.5'')Long x 171mm(6.73") wide x 59mm(2.3") high, thats just the Heatsink, not the complete kit

priced right
that would make a great replacement for CPU Coolers I like the black color alot!
with a whole lotta less modifying than a Arctic Cooler like a A/C64 requires to mount on a light assy

Yes these are good to 80 watt, passive, so no fans, which I am a big fan of, scuse the pun

I like them a lot. Clean and beefy. Especially digging the adjustability for different angles on the smaller rigs.

Right you can mount these in a lot of locations based on different angles

I am interested in the little window who enclose the cob!
is it a lens...i do not think so...what kind of glass is it?
Is it possible to buy it separately?
So one of those will cool passively a cxb 3590 @1400mA...what would be the tj?...
Is it possible to add a fan if wanted?

These can be used with a Reflector that sits around the COB but this will too wide an angle for you guys. The outer window is just to seal the COB from dirt, moisture etc
This Passive it is good to 80 watts, so at 1400ma the led will be only 49 watts, if you want to drive harder It would be possible to add a fan

I do like them although they seem to be pretty heavy duty. Almost like for an outdoor application. That would be awesome if you can just buy the heatsink by itself as an option with no other hardware.

I can see commercial grows using these more than a small personal grower.

Yes you can buy just the heatsink. The concept is you can just buy some or all the discrete parts separately or other components to make a complete assembly
