New Grower, LF Advice (pics)

Hi Guys,

I been browsing the forums for a while now but this is my first post. I'm an indoor growing newbie and wanted some advice on my grow room. My grow room is a 2x6 closet, I have a 400w HPS light in there. It has an air-coolable hood which is hooked to a 188cfm inline fan which exhausts out the top. The passive intake is on the bottom. I am a soil grower.

I have had the 2 plants for about 1 week. I got the clones from a friend. One strain is called XLNT, the other is a indica/afghani (or at least thats what I have been told). My grow room temp range has been about 72-85F.

I have yet to add any nutrients to my soil. I am using a Mircale Grow Potting Soil. I did add a root stimulator after transplanting them.

Any advice or help will be awesome. I am trying to get some pics up right now but my digital camera sucks. I get those on asap. Thanks

Well if your soil doesnt have a time release fert in it, than looks like you have some yellowing on your lower leaves of indica/afgani.

You might want to add some ferts with your next watering, Nitrogen is what you need for veg. I use Mexican Bat Guano for my veg. Ferts.

I have some GH MaxiGrow Fert. Ill add some on my next watering cycle. BtW, I am watering every 5 days. Thats how long it takes the soil to dry out. Is that to long between watering?

sounds close to being about right my plants in veg are about 4 days and my flowering plants are every 2
