New grower help or tips

Hey everyone i got a 7in plant that i put in my window during the day and one 23w cfl at night becuase its only three weeks old and it looking really good and smells great. I was wondering if anyone can give me advice or tips?
ps. if you plant smells dank will your bud be dank(if its female?)

potency has little to do with the smell. the smell is really just an indication of the taste really.

First off get more lights. When using those small cfl's you will need about 5 per plant to give it enough light to grow properly. When vegging you want to have the ones that say "Daylight" 6500K. Flowering will require you to get the ones that say "warm white" 2700K, and you will need more lights for flowering...i'd say at least 8 when you flower 1 plant.

Get a PH meter to measure your water...5.5-6.5 is optimal for soil grows. Get some decent nutes, something that has an NPK of 15-5-5 for your veg stage, and 5-5-20 for flowering.

I would recommend putting your plant under your lights all the time, it will do much better then in a window. Keep the lights about 2" away from the top of the plant...add a few around the plant as well for even better results. Have a fan blowing on your plant to promote strong stem growth...and on the lights as well too keep them nice and cool. Make a small space in a closet and line it with mylar...or paint it flat white all around. (check my gallery to see a small space i made for my 1 plant operation).
