Im new to this site and am amazed at how good of a resource it actually is. Ive learned more in a week than i have in 10 years of smoking.
I live in wa and ive got an appointment in a month to get my medical card and i decided to start my growing a bit early.
So far ive build myself a growbox in my closet that is 4'x2.5'x1' and i have painted the inside white.
Ive cut and mounted a regular like 8 inch house fan at the top
Im going to be using 1 bulb on top with two more bulbs on the sides of the plant. For veggie ill be usuing 6500k CFL bulbs and for flower 2700k CFL bulbs
Now heres my questions that ive ran into:

Should i mount the fan blowing air in or sucking air out of the box?
Should i coat the inside with a reflective material or leave it white?
I know that fox farms is the best for soil, nutes...etc. but i havent been able to find it. What type of soil should i use? or could someone give me a good blend of soil, perilite...etc.
Will a plant still bud if it is partially cut for clones before its put into flowering?
If the plants in a 6x6x6 pot in an area with no humidity how often should i water it?
Again i know fox farms but what would the idea mixture of nutrients be for the plant during veggie and during flower?
When and how would be the best way to trip my plant to maximize bud and contain it in my box?

BTW:I have a strain of trainwreck and i plan on growing 2 plants to start with using one for clones and one straight to flowering.

All help is very appreciated
Thanks:weed:

ok lets see how many of these I can actually answer lol

Should i mount the fan blowing air in or sucking air out of the box?
Typically you would want some sort of exhaust bringing air in and blowing air out, but it doesn't sound like you are getting that complicated, so one fan blowing fresh air in would be fine.

Should i coat the inside with a reflective material or leave it white?
You can line the inside with mylar if you want, but white paint will work fine, it's up to you really.

I know that fox farms is the best for soil, nutes...etc. but i havent been able to find it. What type of soil should i use? or could someone give me a good blend of soil, perilite...etc.
If you don't have any grow shop near you that sells fox farm, try looking online, fox farm website, ebay, amazon, etc. Ocean Forest is the kind I like to use, mix in with 1/3 perlite and 2/3 soil. But this is also up to you really, you can browse through the forum and find plenty of good soil mixes.

Yes, this is fine. Just make sure you are taking clones off the bottom and not too many at a time...

If the plants in a 6x6x6 pot in an area with no humidity how often should i water it?
Well, I sure hope you have some humidity lol. You want 40% to 60% while you are vegging and closer towards 40% when flowering. The best way to measure this is with a max/min hygrometer that reads humidty and temperature. As for watering, just stick your finger in the soil, if it's wet then don't water. If it isn't then go ahead and water. A better way would be to buy a water meter that tells you how wet the soil is on a scale from 1-10.

Again i know fox farms but what would the idea mixture of nutrients be for the plant during veggie and during flower?
You will probably want to get at least fox farms grow big and tiger bloom if you are going to go with anything from them. I use all six of their nutes throughout my grow and follow their schedule for feeding.

You can do all sorts of things from topping, fimming, lst, scrog, plenty of info on each of those on here. Really up to you on that one also depending on your situation. Ok I think im done lol enjoy :bigjoint:
