New Grower...general questions

Hey, I got some seeds from a friend I would like to grow. I've got them sitting in wet paper towels germinating for the moment, but I don't really know what to do next.
I'm gonna grow them outside, (the soil where I live is awesome - red volcanic) but I'm not quite sure what things would help them flourish. I've already read up about the male-female stuff (and I remember highschool biol taught me to tell the difference - yay a practical use for the stuff we learnt then!) but I don't know anything else. Do I just chuck them in the ground when they've germinated? Is there anything special I should do for them?

welcome to the forum. You could. I wouldn't. First I would use the FAQ button, upper left hand corner of this page, to find out how to plant the germinated seeds. This should be the right time of year for you to do this. VV
