I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my order and tell me if i am missing anything before i order and if it is the right stuff i need. Here is a little info on my room.
I will have a bud room that is 12x6 running two 1000 watt hps aircoolable lights with 20 plants under them. The veg room will be 10x7 with two 400 watt mh lights in it, also with 20 plants. the set up is in two seperate bedrooms. Is this Carbon filter gonna be big enough for 20 plants? any input would be great. Hopefully ordering tomorrow.

almost forgot the 4 inch fan will be for intake with the 6 inch for exhaust does this seem right

Wow, thats a lot of information. Carbon filters are not sized by the number of plants, there are sized by the cubic feet of air they move. What you want to be ale to do with the carbon filter/ exhaust system is replace the stale air in the grow area with 'fresh air' every three to five minutes, do the math. Understand that the listed cfm is with no flow restrictions, no bend, no twists.
I am not real sure what you are trying to accomplish here. 12x6 room 2-1000watt lights, ok. What system, medium etc are you planning that you would only have 20 plants? What is the height of the room? You will need, this is not an option, to air cool the lights. Period. Let me explain, it saves you money in the long run, and lots of grief. Without it you will fight to maintain all of the other things in the room. I just installed a 1000watt light, air cooling dropped the temperature in the room 2 degrees. That 1000watt light replaced 2-4'-8 bulb t-5's. Its over (2) 3'by3' flood tables, at one plant per sqft, a standard for most soil grow, that would be 18 plants? Why are you planning on only 20? The light covers these two tables.
If you are only going to feed 20 plants into a 12'x6' room you will not need (2) 400watt lights. The plants will be smaller and can be covered with just one. With the information you have given, I would suggest dropping one of the 400's and getting the cooltubes, more information about the type of grow may help us give better advice. VV

First off i will be growing in soil havent came to a conlusion about what soil and nutes i will be using. the reason for only 20 plants is me and my gf are allowed 10/veg 10 buding at a time so with both mmj cards we can do 20/20. The reason i was going with 2 400 watt mh was so that i can get them all the light they need and veg them out really nice. Also from my research i saw that a 1000 watt hps was perfect for a 5x5 room. My room is a little bigger that 10x10 so i thought i thats how i would get the most light for my plants in that room. As far as the carbon filter goes the fan will be pushing 6 inch inline fan 424 cfm through the pure flow carbon filter from htg wwhat is 18 inches tall 10 inches wide and 14 pounds. Is this filter big enough for my bud room? My intake fan will be a 4 inch inline pushing 170 cfm. Do these two fans seem like they are the right size for intake and exhaust. Thanks everyone

You need to read the dirtbags journals (B. thc+r&d) he is a medical growerin Portalnd Oregon, has plant limits so he grows big plants.
It really does not make sense to use 2-400watt lights. The lumen out put is around 43,000 for a 400watt, its around 95,000 for a 600 watt. 200less watts of power used, same light produced, one less fixture. Wether the fan is big enough depends on the cubic feet in the room, since we don't know what that is, its hard to answer, and you are all welcome. VV
