New Grow Box arriving....I have a couple of questions....

I have a new grow box arriving tomorrow and have a couple of questions. If I am not using all growing areas I would guess they need to be covered so no light gets into the reservoir. This is my first DWC system so any pointers will help. I choose this unit because it is compact and can be concealed easily as my space is limited and I have a 17 year old at home. Also what should my ppm's be during flowering? When I add water to the reservoir, should I top off with just ph'd water or with my nutrient mixture?

thats a great looking box bro! + rep...i have no idea about DWC...i do have a good friend i grow with that just went from soil growing indoor, to DWC...we started at the same time and my plants are fucking blowing his away....dwc is awesome once you get it down pat because you can literally walk about from it for a few days after you know what your doing, which is what his plant was...his roots are growing awesome in the water, but the plants are getting no height or thickness...so i cant ask him to help with your question...good luck man, if you were growing in dirt i could help...best of luck

Hey how did this work out...I would think that you are correct in your assumption RE: no light getting to the reservoir/roots. maybe some sort of poly sponge type thing in the empty slots.
