New Fan 230cfm, don't know what to do with it.

So i just got this sweet fan for $15 and i have no idea how to hook it up, i tried to find an appropriate power supply to no avail. the requirements are: 115v 50/60hz 24w. connects with terminals (see pic). any help? please?

Dude, you don't need a "power supply" - just a plug! 115 volt, 60 cycle, is regular "house current" here in the US. It sounds like you have zero experience with electricity - "Do you feel lucky?".

Thanks, I actually already did that yesterday. I took an ungrounded old-style household extension cable, snipped off the female end separated and stripped the two wires and touched them to the terminals on the fan. Perfect. The next step is alligator clips.

Does anyone know where i can find good electrical instruction online or in book form? Electronics for dummies focuses more on circuitry on circuitboards and such.
