New exhaust system.

Hey All,

I thought I'd share some pictures of my new exhaust/carbon filter system .The fan is a six inch Hurricane (440 cfm ) and the filter is a four inch (200 cfm) carbon unit. I'm running it at one third the speed, I also purchased the variable speed controller. O.K., before anyone comments on the placement of my filter, it's made to either "pull or push " the air in my box. I got it from LED Wholesalers in California. Yes it's ambidextrous. As far as I know, it's only offered in the four inch model. I searched high and low for this product because I just don't have the room in my box to accommodate it. It Seems to be working fine, I'm currently growing a NYC Diesel x Lowryder #2 Automatic, and she is getting stinky IMG_00000264.jpgIMG_00000265.jpg IMG_00000266.jpg IMG_00000267.jpg IMG_00000268.jpg IMG_00000269.jpg IMG_00000270.jpg

Any suggestions, questions or comments, bring them my way. If you've never seen one of these in action, god are they powerful and they really clean the air.

Peace.

Hey Red,

I wasn't really going for the stealth thing with this box. I was going to paint it but decided not to. It's in my basement and when I have a photo on the grow, it's completely dark after light's out. My yield's have been so remarkable that I decided to leave it as is. I own my house so the only one that sees it is the wife and I.

Thanks for checking it out.
Peace.

looks good my man! Just dont run at full capacity on the fan as that filter is a bit of a restriction. Too much will cause backpressure and burn the fan out.

Hey crawlintbss,

Thank's for stopping by. I have it running @ 1/3 of max. It seems to be doing the trick. Awesome information Brother.

Peace,

You seem to have no trouble going into flower, so I assume you're pretty good about keeping the basement dark or are growing an autoflower strain

Hey Red,

You're right. This one (above) is a Diesel Auto(NYC Diesel X Lowryder #2). She's very short and compact. I'm pretty sure I won't grow one of these again, just a bit too small. Beautiful though, her purple stem's and dark green/olive leave's are outrageous. She's flowering like crazy, so I guess I'm going to have to wait for the end result, seeing she is only @ six week's. I like the more exotic short strain's. Here's some picture's of my Northern Light Auto. This one is a winner, the yield was four ounce's and the plant was only twenty inches tall. Breeder's are not upfront with "seed to harvest" estimate's, all Automatic's take anywhere from ten to fourteen week's to finish. This N.L. was thirteen week's start to finish. Also, you're correct my grow space is completely dark, even in the day.
