As far as I know there are only regular seeds right now. But they have given the Ski Train cut to several centers, so it is possible that they will sell it.

Looks like there's some action on the site, they've got a new center carrying their product in Sunnyside and they've got a cool new logo.

So I'm official 303 Crew now, dig the new avatar. Thought I'd let you know that we are going to be a sponsor of the Monthly Meet & Greet: https://www.monthlymeetandgreet.com/ again this month and we'll be donating packs of seeds to both the raffle and to the winner of the costume contest.
We'll also have some 303 Seeds stickers, t-shirts, and other random swag, so swing by The Oriental Theater on the 30th for a chance to win some free 303 Seeds and smoke down with the crew!
Word from the top is that we'll have some limited samples of Ski Train for heads interested in trying some finished product but I bet they wont last long!

Congrats Budpatch. What does it mean to be "303 crew"? I'm just curious.

Right now it means I get to help with the selection and testing, wear cool t-shirts and have a neat logo below my name, lol.
I had already donated most of the top strains that I had been working on and found myself on the same page with the other breeders on the progression of the plant medicinally. Added CBD to the high THC strains, more landrace genetics to add diversity, more genetic diversity in the medical centers, more patient access to seeds and top quality viable clones, etc. I spend so many thousands of dollars on genetics on the internet, it was also nice to have a local company with good pricing to rally behind.:-D

Nice. I like your line of reasoning on genetic selection/progression. I'm on a bit of a mission to find a good strain to treata insomnia, and one to treat anxiety during the day (no couchlock). 303's Shooting Star sounds like it will do the trick for insomnia.
I'll have to give it a try...

Shooting Star will absolutely do the trick if selected towards the "ambien" mom! I've gotten to sample some, it will put you to sleep first thing in the morning...no joke! I believe we're in the process of selecting Shooting Star males for a backcross to the "ambien" mom too...exciting stuff.

I think we're looking at a team modeled after Subcool's Green Avengers. His model for advancing genetics through a large team of interconnected growers and breeders is already tested and proven. It really allows for the sharing of so much more data than you would be able to gather with one isolated group of growers. The unique genetics and the quality of his product is consistently good as a result. Using a similar model, but with a different approach to the genetics and a different set of genetic lines, I think we can help CO become the mecca of viable genetics we all know it can be. Staying legal and helping to develop the laws in regards to seeds, seed breeding, and genetic preservation is key. I think we should be up for that challenge.

Anyone looking for some new fire genetics in Colorado should check out 303 Seeds. They've currently got a center in S.E. Denver that has their gear, but I hear several other shops will have them soon. I've had the pleasure to be involved with these breeders for some time now and can tell you that they are working with some amazing, patient tested gear at really nice prices. Cool stash jar comes with the seed pack too.

After spending thousands of dollars on seed internationally over the internet, it is nice to see some new seeds available to fill the gap in the local seed market. Check em out.

I would love to see USA companies sell seeds from the USA. I dunno the breeder you mention but that would be great if you could order american breeder seeds and have them at your door in a couple days.
Prices would come way down as well.

Always on the lookout for the best of the best of the best of the best Chef! I've been a huge fan of Chem crosses since the beginning. OG and Daywrecker were my faves aside from the 91 cut.

No kidding, thats what I liked about the 303 pricing models...we weren't pricing things the same as the Spanish and Euro breeders, we actually make good seeds and sell them at reasonable prices. The fact that the grows are licensed and legal help quite a bit to lower the cost, but seriously, some of the breeders out there are charging $200+ for a couple of seeds! 303 Seeds doesn't have a pack over $100, and we have 3 strains at $50 and under. Keep spreading the word...it can be done.

If the genetics used to make the seeds are selected and meticulously worked beyond f1, proven medical quality, why would the price go down?

I am a big Sannie fan. He sells megafine beans, all under 50. Most are 35.
I love Sannie as well, he's the one that got me into Motarebel's gear. I'm a huge fan...Esco too, excellent breeders there.

Good question. I think that there are quite a few breeders out there that charge reasonable prices for seeds and do a lot of selection work. Sannie, Cannacopia, TGA to name a few big ones... The pricing will drop with supply, just like the pot prices did in the centers once the warehouse grows started harvesting.
Some of the finest genetics I've grown have been F1, and I am a huge fan of selecting from F1 and F2 phenotypes to find medicine that meets my specific needs. I have grown some great IBL's, don't get me wrong, but IMHO you are much more likely to get something amazing out of F1 hybrids from top notch parents.than from a IBL line. Not always true though, and just my opinion. In the end, parental selection is key whether you are working towards an IBL or towards F1 variation.

So your saying you would rather have an F2 instead of an F5?
I guess it would depend on the strain and situation, but generally yes. I especially like the F2 generation because that is where you see the most parental variation. It is amazing to sort through the F2's of a special set of parents, because you get the full variation of both parents and all the combos in between. That being said, F5s are generally nice, uniform and stable, so if I found something I loved, I wouldn't mind running some F5s.

Like I said above, IBL's are great, and locking down certain genetic traits can be a fun and rewarding process. I just find that I can tailor the F1 and F2 phenotypes to meet my own medical needs and expectations and that those F1 and F2 variations have more vigor, resin and production than most of the more inbred lines. Not to mention that no one else will have a pheno exactly like yours. Of course this isn't always the case, and this is certainly just my opinion here.

Many people really want to have a clear picture of what they are going to grow prior to growing it. I liked that very much 15 years ago, today I prefer more of an adventure!

This is where the breeder's job becomes more difficult in the age of medical cannabis. I believe most patients want to drop a seed in the ground and end up with a finished product that exactly (or at least very closely) fits the breeder description of the product. Cannaseurs (who may also be patients) are generally looking for something unique.

If I ran a seed company in a medical state I think I'd focus on the patients who want consistency and simplicity first, and the cannaseurs second. You almost need two lines of each strain. The patient line would be feminized seeds with traits locked in for the medical effects. The cannaseur line would be regular seeds that produce variability within a range of traits. Color being a good example here. Color appeals to cannaseurs but has zero relevance to treatment of a specific medical condition.

I know to most people on these boards feminized seeds are the work of the devil but they are important for people who are forced by law to keep plant numbers and total product weight down. It is very difficult to stay within the law in CO if you need multiple strains and can't afford the expense of running multiple rooms for mothers, flower, etc. Feminized seeds that deliver consistent finished product would help a lot in this regard.

Isnt feminized seed kinda a quick route to a "cubed" version of the mother? I know Its a stupid question but, whats the problem w fem'd seeds? Kinda think theyre cool...

I've heard a lot of people complain about fem'd seeds wrecking the gene pool because they are created without a natural father. I would agree with that if the breeder never used males in their breeding program but I doubt that's how it works. I'm no breeder, but I think they would use normal breeding practices to get the desired traits in a strain and then self-pollinate the best female out of the bunch to create the seeds.

I definitely like the concept for people with limited plant count. I'm actually doing my first experiment with fem'd seeds right now. Unfortunately, it is going to be hard for me to say whether I like them or not because I'm growing two new strains from fem seeds. If I had fem/normal seeds of a single strain I could tell what the difference is between the two.
