New Coco grow

well this is gona be my first grow in about 2-3 year i used to grow with soil now im gona use coco.......
So i have
2.4x1.2 tent
8" fan and filter
12x 16ltr fabric pots
Dutch pro nutes

Any help on the ec i should start my cuts on, i have mimosa and blue sherbet just nearly rooted im going to pot up in next day or 2 and start adding photos..

Every one is welcome to join and help along the way if the want to

Well finally got them potted up i have my tent and lights, going for 8" fan and filter friday
Any help with ec please....

So my dutch pro says 1.8-2.0 e.c for veg
is that overall 1.8-2.0 or do i add this 1.8-2.0 amd forget about what my water is while adding nutes thanks for any help

Not daily as they were under t5s and not drying out as fast, im ready to that now there under the mh light, i will be doing there first in the 8x4 tomorrow when lights come on.... how much run off do i want

It's fairly simple. Coco is a neutral medium so it only has what you put into it. Set your nutrient solution up with the correct EC for the feeding period, pour it into the coco slowly until you get about 20% run off. Now if your solution EC is 1000 than your run off should be between 700 and 1300. The run off is used to wash out salt buildups which will cause lock outs and rising EC. If run off is done every time it should be easy to maintain your coco.

I think you're making this more complicated than you should........I haven't owned a ppm/ec meter in 25 years.
Start at 1/4 of the recommended strength for your nutes and increase from there as the plant grows.
I use MaxiBloom.......1 tsp is full strength........I start at 1/4 tsp.

Thanks i have just fed before lights out aswell i will leave them when lights come on to dry out a bit but there roots all coming out bottoms off pots now

Mixed reviews everywhere i have been reading that coco growers page and that states no need to let dry out as there is enough oxygen in the coco to have it saturated in nutrients
