The Canadian government has decided through clear bigotry that it no longer can trust it's precious (failed yet profitable) prohibition with The People. It is some pretty confused, yet common, politics where the control of government bureaucracy meets the greed of corporations behind closed doors. It is pretty sad today that worldwide gov't/corp "trust" relationships trump The People every time. Only The People can change this coming Armageddon, as these governments and corporations would be nothing without us period.

Harsh? Who spreads rumors like that other than someone with bad ill intended. The G3C is a chill place. Who listens to everything they hear. Who's feeding into this. Is it good conversation. No it's the opposite. Just another pissed off vendor.

We've watched the feds work the I-94 corridor all year long in 2013, from Muskegon, Jackson, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti to Detroit. Year long secret investigations working with huge groups of clandestine local law enforcement soliciting federal judges for warrants to raid homes and businesses, seizing property and arresting dozens of patients and caregivers. We are lucky if we catch wind of these police actions when they occur and the perps simply disappear to never be heard from again as this game marches on with absolutely no accountability.

That said, if I lived in the Flint or Lansing areas I may take the next shoe to drop perspective in 2014. Have there been any MJ related police actions up there that have went unreported to the public?

I'm not saying that these things aren't happening but some people should just keep their mouth shut. Some people want to inform while others just want to start rumors.

Again it's a race towards the bottom.
I think by this time next year their will be 80-100$ oz that aren't even considered meds. I think we owe it to the public to get out meds tested. To weed the good from the bad out. I understand nobody's perfect but there has to be quality control when it comes to serving a patient or patients. Quality
Counts. Just ask the guys in Lansing trying to take our rights away and give them to the Canadians. They see the garbage being produced in the dispensaries across michigan. Why do you think they wanna give it to the Canadians?

your not fully aware of what they did do you??? there not takeing our rights away for one .. giving a choice to let them serve ya or your care giver or your self... the meds in canada are dirt they make them lower the thc count with leaf to i think 3 grades with 17% being the highest.. as it was to strong .. then they radiate it to kill mold and i guess any chance of seeds.. what kind of quality are you talking?? how old are ya??? remember brick weed??? we smoked so much mold back then and still alive but yes if you have a auto immune problem id suggest you scope any thing you use tested or not .. testing relay dont work all the time also for strength. as i have old school 30 year old clone onlys that only test out at 13% or so that will kick the crap out of a 20% kush.. theirs more there then whats tested for .. dont know what your griping about relay if you smoke it and it sucks you wount buy again from them right??? if you scope it and see mold you shouldnt buy it right??we can do our own quality control id say.. why would you want to let the gov put more regulations on us ?? relay i do think most know good or bad meds bro.. sorry but you sound like someone who owns a testing lab to tell ya the truth and want to push it for your own benefit .. have fun ...

^^ double like!

When it comes down to it QC is determined by the market. Ala all the brick weed I used to smoke. People just need to be educated and informed. We don't need more government regulations, we need less( on cannabis).

Side note:
I can't believe this thread got so massive! Almost 1200 replies! I never thought that would happen when I started it. mind boggling

How do we deal with growers that throw pesticide on the bud they want to sell me?

poor practices equate to poor weed. Nobody says stop testing, just don't require it. you can still get it tested or demand tested herd for you. I suspect that with pesticides you'll know. I think it'll be like hydro- everyone loves to knock hydro but when someone who is a good grower is using hydro you won't know (that includes a lab) that it isn't that gold standard organic stuff. pesticides will be obvious, guy who needs them isn't a grade A grower. just my opinion leave testing as an OPTION, not a REGULATION.

Totally agree. I guess my point was if I walk into a dispensary with jars on the counter, I really haven't the slightest idea what's in there. And the dude behind the counter has no clue either. I could pop a bud in a bowl and have no idea I'm smoking mite-icide, fungicide, etc.

Same could be said of a home baking company.

Well, you guys may not like the idea of mandatory testing but you better prepare yourselves for it. Everyone wants full legalization, but with that will come some consequences. Mandatory testing being one of them. Once weed is fully legalized corporate America will put some muscle behind this and make it as restrictive and cost prohibitive as possible for us small guys.
