Just read through your grow, and it strikes me as to how similar my soil grow is to yours at your current stage. IM gonna follow this one as this would be interesting to see hoe similar your results turn out.

So far so good, the plants look strong to me!

Hey reeman,
just my personal opinion, I don't think you should be bummed about getting only one female. If you cover everything in reflective material, (floor, side of pot)that one female will be soaking up all the light instead of sharing with the other one. I think you will get a little more bud per plant if you only have one compared to two sharing the light. My prediction, 40 grams :). I don't know about you, but that would last me a few months.

i just found BALLS>>>>>>>>BALLS!!!!!!!! ahhhhh DAMN!!!!!! i hate BALLS..... i just found balls on my plant, i started a pc case grow a couple days ago so i cant keep the hermie. or else i would just keep it and not let it pollinate, but i dont want to risk it pollinating my other plants

Hey Reaman, where did you get your light fixture? I was thinking of doing a grow with an HPS but the CFL's seem so much more flexible and easier to maintain. Not to mention the grow would be in an apartment closet.

Edit: Sorry about the hermie man, that must be pretty disheartening. :(

thanks for the condolences, i have a pc grow so i am not too bummed, but these new plants will be tiny and the yield will be crap, but you win some and you loose some. I got that vanity fixture at lowes for 9 dollars. i have 3 Y splitters so i can hold 6 lights, but each socket on the fixture is only rated at 60 watts only, so i can have 60 watts per Y splitter. but its not too bad, i think they have one for 13 dollars that is 100 watts per socket so thats better.

some of the cheap plastic y splitters are rated for 600w.

Little excessive, but under 3 bucks.

well lightit... they are not stand alone units , i try to tell you how to wire them........take a cheap extension cord and cut off the part where you plug in other devices(leaving the part that goes into the wall) so now you have a plug with two bar ends, dont plug it in while you do this. take splicers or something and strip the rubber off the ends of the leads. however many light sockets you have, you need twice as many leads coming off of the cord ie- if you want to plug in 3 sockets, you need 3 wires on one + side and 3 on the - side.

ok so assuming you have 3 lights---- you attach the 3 wires to the one + side and vice versa. so you should have a total of 6 wires coming off the cord. the socket usually have one contact that is silver and one that is bronze. attach all 3 wires from the - side to each of the bronze contacts. and the 3 + wires to each of the silver contact. NOW LISTEN!! i just say + or - but it doesnt matter which one you attach to either contact AS LONG AS all f the bronze are connected to the same wire and the silver are attached to the other wire i will post a little picture if i can

ok so my explanation wa maybe hard to follow so i made an easy to see diagram .... the pic on topis how it would actually be in my pc box, and how it will probably be in urs,,,,, the other one is to show you how parralell circuit work it basic terms.

Now i am pretty sure that you can use series circuit as well, but i like parallel because if one light burns out the others stay on. in a series they would all go out,,, killing your plants.
