It'll never happen. HIPAA. And I don't like the idea of sending my genetic material off to '23 and me'..too Soylent Green for me.

That would not bother me in the least. I paid big bucks about 10 years ago to find out my haplogroups.

I was arrested for cultivation and was fingerprinted and mouth swabbed for the federal database.
I beat their case against me in court and was able to have my DNA record destroyed, but not my fingerprints lol.

that means your dna sample is privet property. if the feds have it it's federal property. we need a new constitutional amendment for this shit.
