New bagseed grow, stealth

Hey everyone,

Ive decided to start up a grow journal here and get some helpful info along the way.

The box is a trunk locker stood on its side, so its 31" high and 15" width.
The inside is covered in white paper, has 2 computer exhaust fans, with a intake hole. Im growing using CFLs for right now im only using 2 15w 6500k CFLs. I plan adding more soon.

The medium is MG organic and chicken poop mixed up. It seems to be working good so far.

Im only feeding it water w/ superthrive makes the PH around 6.5 every other 2 days about 50 milliliters. Im going to use a organic mix of nutes at about week 4.

Heres the pictures, i have a decent digital camera but i cant make it take close up pictures with out them being blurry :(

Heres my questions,
1. If you look close you can see on the 1st set of true leafs the ends are browned slightly, is it heat stress? the temps near the bulbs are around 80-85 degrees. I would like to add more light when its bigger and farther from the heat of the lights.

2. I came in to take the pictures and i noticed some grey looking mold on the soil close to the sides of the container, i mixed it up ( dont know why) then a few seconds after that i notice a few little white specs walking around the edge of the container, ive tried looking these up with no success what are they?

3.With the high limited to around 28" when should i begin to flower?

Thanks guys!

For some reason everytime i try to upload these pictures i get
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1920001 bytes) in /home/rollitup/public_html/includes/class_image.php on line 2360
so ill come back and post the rest later.

well i would def go with another plant or 2.....50\50 on getting a male....thats y ppl start with soo many because they only look at keeping half thats not male. they might be thripes....i had small blk ones in mine and they were gone when i started to flower.

to answer ur questions the browning is probably nute burn. heat stress the leave start to turn up and a burn when the leaf touchs the light will turn white.

i would flower around 10-12in....they usually double in size in flowering.

yeah the brown is most def. nute burn, dont give any nutes for the first few weeks of life. and the soil is prob moldy cause you are over watering and not letting the soil dry out in between waterings.

In my household plants I kill anything with moldy soil..its usually root rot from overwatering..ewwwwww

hey bro, you're going to suffer some heat problems with your set up right now. So maybe get a few more fans if you can.
Also thats not a very tall box, youre not going to want to veg for very long
Youre also going to need more lights eventually

goodluck!

Duece.

hey guys

Its been about 4 days since my last post, figure id show you the improvement.

Woke up this morning to check up on it and i lifted the pot and at the drainage holes there looked like nasty white mold(didnt look like roots) coming out, so i decided to transplant into a bigger pot and see what was going on. to my surprise i just found a really nice rootball and no mold. so with my very shotty transplant its in a bigger pot for more room for the roots.

The lights are still the 2 15w 6500k CFLS, i tryed adding more CFLs (which i only have are red spectrum lights and they run hot) and made the box almost 90 degrees! so i made soda can reflectors for the CFLs and it accutaly dropped the temp to 81 at the top of the box.

I recently got a organic nute method im going to use using a banana and a egg, with organic nutes can i burn the plant still? how long should i wait?

Ive tried looking this question up with no answers, Is it normal for the sides of your leafs to curl up towards the center? some of the leafs have done that then went back to normal, you can see it on the second picture 2nd set of leafs the one going ^. also that nute looking burn on the first set of leafs is only on that set.
