Y’all picky about your hot dogs…

I guess I’ll put any wiener in my mouth
I wasn't. And then I had Chicago dogs with a coworker that grew up in Chicago. It was at a place that was started by a guy that from Chicago. My coworker looked at me and almost had tears in his eyes because the dog was basically identical to what he grew up on. He said, you know how many places I've been to outside of Chicago to try and find a Chicago dog that's even close to home? It sounds dumb, but it really sold me on them and now any other way is just weird to me. Haha

I have. That said, they are like Philly Cheesesteaks for me. I love everything about them. I want to love the sandwiches. But anytime I have one, I'm always underwhelmed. One day I will get to the respective cities and get one from their motherland before passing judgement. I'll still order them here and there just to make sure, but I need the real one so I can get the actual opinion.

yep. kinda like, hey the new guy took these out of the brine too early. let's try one and see how it is.

i like them but they are unusual taste
It also could have been the hype. I saw people going nuts about them on Facebook one day so I picked some up. Got home and couldn't wait for me and the wife to try them. We both took a bit and spit em back out on the floor. Hahaha. I was like "have these people never tasted a dill pickle?!?"
