quick question, is HPS hotter than MH?
New 400w hps from HTG-SWEET!

I honestly don't know, never ran a MH.... Interested in knowing that myself. I know an HPS putsout more lumens than a MH, but i don't know if it would make the bulb run hotter....

What hood then, the 'euro?' Even so, if u ordered it recently they may still be out of stock on the 'euro's'... Maybe they'll upgrade ur hood too!
dang. My closet gets passed 90* without any ventilation or fans. And thats with a 150w with reg. hood.
I plan on getting an aircooled 400w with digital ballast
My closet was up there too with my old 400. I'd definately reccommend this light to anyone growing in a smalller space like a closet or a tent. I'm still gonna add a small exhaust fan to mine though, who knows, maybe I"ll be able to get those buds actually TOUCHING the glass

Well.. I would have loved to have ordered a better hood but I was kind of on a budget.. I got the stock one. for sure man go for the 400. then if you ever want to expand you could get another one and cover 40% more area than 1 1000w. mix it up too, get a mh and then later another hps?
