NEW 1000 Watt COB by Par-Horta!

I'd like to thank @JimmyJames905 at Par-Horta for such an awesome light fixture!
Here are the Features:
Dimensions 36"x36"
10 x Bridgelux Vero 29 V7 SE "C" series 100 watt Cobs (5x3500k 90CRI & 5x4000k 90CRI)
10 x SSTX Splayed pin heatsinks
2 x HLG-480H-C1400b Drivers
2 x Calibrated Dimmer controls for absolute Spectrum Control
2 x 10amp, 16 Gauge Power cables. 6 feet long. Use two separate power in's for Sunrise/Sunset simulation on a separate timer.
2 x PWM Outputs for use with Arduino dimmer automation (Coming Summer 2017)

looks solid but man thats a lot of light in the center.

We shall see. It was originally going to be a 900 watt unit, but he gave me a deal for an extra 100 watts so decided on that array.

If you're using reflectors leaving them off the middle cobs will do a lot to even the spread out.

I'm definitely using reflectors. That's a really good idea! So reflectors on 8 of the 10.

if its still too bright you can easily jumper around one of the center cobs and the 480-1400 will still drive everything fine. maybe if he hasnt delivered yet you can ask him to throw in that feature so it looks pretty and is warranted

actually now that i see thats a 36" frame youre gonna be 24" up off your canopy anyway so it should even out

nice, however I would have done 2700 and 4000 I wonder why 3500/4000 ?

I thought I ordered 3000/4000 but I guess I didn't. Was my bad. Mixed it'll end up being 3750k I believe.

I think the idea is to turn down the 4000 in favour of the lower kelvin range during flower, no?

I agree with CobKits. I can't see why its not a 4,2,4 layout.
