Skunk is one of the few strains I haven't grown yet that I still want to. I've been waiting for someone to come up with the mythical, magical old time nasty skunk we used to get here in VA but if I keep waiting it might never happen. Those look really nice with the classic #1 skunk structure.

Id say the skunkiest stuff around is usually the ecsd work. The right pheno is almost as loud as old school skunk.
Nevilles skunk is neville's haze x afghaniskunk. If your looking for skunk flav its not here.

There's a couple around that are close, but none with the right stink. There's a skunk/weed convention in Richmond in a couple weeks so I'll see what people bring in for that. If anyone local has it and wanted to show it off, this would be the venue. I looked at a couple of Shoreline's strains as they're supposed to be really foul but nothing with just the right terps yet.
It's just nostalgia for me as I greatly prefer Kush and heavy indica strains now. As a kid I just loved being blasted out of my head on good skunk.

Mr nice seeds are for advanced growers imo. Prob snickering at my burnt tips. Never had such hard to please plants. Grown medicine man too is the same, hard to finish perfect. Plants from other breeders in the same room end up perfect looking. Mr nice is a test of your skills.

I am in the process of trying to pull back from burning my buds with a new light I'm testing, so no snickering here brother. I always get some burnt tips from my smallish pots and running organics. Mr. Nice is a legend, I'd love to run some of his stuff down the road for sure.

No, from Washington DC originally and VA now. Virginia had a strain called Schuyler skunk that was pure roadkill skunk back in the day. I live about an hour away from Schuyler and can't find it anywhere. It would get you busted through two rolled up sandwich baggies lol. No smell proof containers when I was young.

Bottom branch early had mold on it 70 dayish, small pinner of the bottom of the branch buds, so bottom of the bottoms, small pinner took me on a journey lol. Stuff is potent as hell. Creeper dimension jumping type stuff. Is something u have to try not read about. Like those old school import sativas in effect. Whole room showing a touch of mold think they gotta come down vs spraying. 20221016_045715.jpg

Yeah we used to do the same double triple baggies nothing would work. Back then we would call it the red hair skunk. Im from ontario. Ran into someone online who seemed to know the grower back then or even could have been the grower and said it was only half skunk1, was the stuff we referred to as red hair skunk as kids. Bags never came labled. Only cause it rank like a skunks spray and penetrated walls did we call it skunk and knew it by looks due to the bright red hairs.

I was happy to see Mr Nice was still around as it's been a while since I last grew with anything decent and looked at breeders. I might try and get some of those next time I make an order.
Seen the shit grown outdoors in ontario, was a great smoke too for outdoor. Shit might please more people in terms of its growth. A great smoke too. Dont wanna sway you away from shit as most people would prob prefer the shit. I love the buzz of nev skunk but very on the fence of keeping it as i made some seeds. As with most euphoria buzzes is not gonna be something you can get everytime. Seems more of a head buzz and slight body very pleasant effect if you dont end up overly euphoric. To me is the perfect effect. Things nev skunk doesnt have is a super amazing taste. Is unqiue, not droolworthy type flav tho. Freshly dried it has shoe leather terps on the tongue. Cure it improves but is not todays types of terps. Buds look larfy, hairy, bushlike, altho is frosty. Does not have great bag appeal. Takes long to flower. 11 12 weeks imo. Just putting this out there as i think many people will be sorely disappointed if they grow nev skunk. A light smoker will prob find this to be magical weed. Heavy smokers will get used to anything imo.

Nice plants, I'm sure the smoke is excellent. I just got a freebie 5 pack of Sam Skunkman's Ohaze x Sk1 which is one of my favorite freebies ever. The haze/skunk cross produces some magical results and is well worth pheno hunting.
