Never smoked auto

Hi

I never planted or smoked autoflowers before.

Is it truth that when u smoke it you really notice the difference from a normal cannabis? Maybe I already smoked before and didn't notice anything different, perhaps the fact of beeing cosidered a low THC plant in general?

Asking this because im interested in buy some of these autoflowers but im not so sure for what I read there..

compensates for the yeld/time?
compensates for the flavor?
compensates for the lower thc?

Just wan't your opinions :) TY

As long as it's harvested when the trichs are milky you'll have fully realized thc. At that point it's strain dependent whether or not it's high thc level. The only difference is that they auto flower verses being put in 12/12 so the veg time can only be as long as the plant vegs for.
What strain, breeder?

In a test a fellow med patient and I smoked 20 autos all grown out from various seed companies in the same environment. The hazes were more like the hazes. The indicas were more like the indicas. Purple Ryder was one of our choices based on smoke and it was very dark purple so that was a bonus. Diesel Ryder was a creaper and really impressive although it didn`t look at all like it would be the winner it won strongest one hit auto. There was an auto haze that had a pure haze smell and taste and high very clear sativa high. I really liked that one and saved some seeds as well. It is basically the same for all individual seeds grown auto or not. Smoke it first and then make your choice. What looks great might not be the best smoke even when grown the same way. Autoblueberry was very DJ Short blueberry tasting with some purple honey dripping off the blue hue colored buds. That one is also an auto favourite of mine.

Wouldn't a topping earlier promote easier spread on the canopy? If it is advisable to begin with...

Sorry for the partial thread hijack, but it is applicable to the OP's sitch...

BTW, OP, it's my understanding that the THC levels on most reputable Autos has been coming up steadily to be nearly level with the photoperiods. That and the CBD's have always been off the charts.

Yep. But I think mine got bigger than they were supposed to.
