Fellow growers, what's happening!
I swear every run I run into some kind of new problem that I was unaware of!

This round I have a maui wauii that is very strange. Its yellow striped which looks like an excess of calcium, but the weird part is it's all bubbly/pimplely, the whole plant. It's been this way almost since the jump but seems to be advancing. This am the leaves were drooped and feel crispy. The only thing I can think is it's super sensitive to ca but again. The pimples. W.t.f.

I'm using roots organics base mix and tap water. Other 3 plants look fine...

Anyone ever seem this and know what it is?

Get pics without the burple on please..
Makes diagnosing easier..
Looks like nitrogen toxicity causing lockout making leaves to look cal/mag def..
Or just burnt
Nitrogen toxicity could make sense. This one has been growing wayyy faster than the others. Here's some more pics.

Bro I think you're right!!! I was just looking at what Hawaii soil is rich in and guess what...its IRON! reading about Iron deficiency....same as what's going on! Genius!

Now how do I supplement iron quickly is the question!
Why would a plant in soil thats RICH in iron have an iron deficiency? Iron is a micro nute . Your plant already needs almost none in comparison. Why supplement iron ……quickly

did you perhaps overwater them ? Looks like they aren't eating

I’ve never had russet or broad mites so don’t know about those, my first guess looking at them was boron then iron. The way the leaves droop it could be overwatering as well. I’ve had a boron def and that’s what made me think that first with the bumpy leaves and all. Mine was caused by ph locking it out, but in soil it’s probably just a deficiency.
