Net Size

What net size, should be used for hydroponic. 3",5". Does it even make a diffrence?

Yes, how many clay pellets you wanna buy? lol. It matters to a point. I mean, I've read that if a plant takes on and roots a 5 gallon pot, it will be 5 feet tall, the gallon/foot ratio theory. i have discovered however that this may have been meant to describe the height of the plant at the end of it's life cycle, cuz i have plants that are 16 inches tall but have filled a 5 gallon pot with their roots.
