Neems Oil, how late can it be used?

I'm hoping some folks might advise me on using neems ON buds a couple of weeks from harvest . . . and if so, how late can I use it w/o risking tasting it?
Thanks RIUppers!

That's what I'm trying to decypher . . . I'd think one week, but who really knows?
I followed some advice on here re: how often I should spray neems for mites. Someone wrote "every 3 days for three weeks" . . . which might have worked for them, but severely burned some of my plants.

Neem oil burnt the heck out of my friends grow too and he used 1/4 of what was recomended just to check it out. His plants all fried to a crispy yellow then brown.
How did it taste? He ended up making hash out of it and still had neem oil taste in it but not as bad.

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and harvest that one plant. It only budded for 5 weeks, but those are done and there's no new pistils (the others have retracted into the bracts)
I guess moving an infested w/mites, outdoor, clone project plant, 3 weeks w/pistils, inside under 600W hps isn't for the squeamish. The buds didn't really fill out very well, but look quite smokable. I'll post a harvest pic on this one in about 2 weeks.
Thanks folks.

You really don't have to use much neem oil to kill em. i just put 2 small tips of the neem bottle into my sprayer, then fill it with a little dish soap and some hot water. let it sit for a day or until it gets back to room temp and spray every other day for a week or so, and spray the grow area too. haven't had any problems burning my babies at all.

5 weeks is where i'm at, i'm not sure THC production has started enough to really get much out of it, but let us kno.

Yum...damn I need to start my grow room lol. If your worried about using Neem oil then order lady bugs...ship them over night so they can get right to work. They will eat the bugs that are parasitic to our plants :)...so roll a blunt, get a magnifying glass, and watch the discovery channel like never before...in person!

The picture came from a 2 plant planter I stuck outdoors in mid-July as a clone machine, then moved inside under 600W hps for 13 cycles (12/12's), when the bulb blew.
The soil I used was crap . . . too quick to drain. I didn't feed it much at all and used Schultz Plant Food plus, a liquid I cut my teeth on in the 70's, forgot about, then ran into recently at True value hardware. 10-15-10 w/urea type nitrogen. Grew a LOT of Columbian Red/Gold with Schultz in the past.

this is correct.

I had ants around my plant and on my stem about six weeks ago. I watered with a gallon water and a tablespoon of neem. Ants were gone and plant looked fine. I imagine by now any neem that plant absorbed has since passed through if it was even absorbed, huh?

I didn't want to use it in the soil, just sprayed the leaves well, several times.
Should ants become a problem in the future, did you know that many types of ants won't cross a line of talc/baby powder, so can be deterred this way without having to kill them. Just need to cut a line around anything you don't want them in/on.

Unless ants are building a nest, they are harvesting something from your plant/planter . . . probably insect.

Put some super sticky double sided tape around your pot your planting in, and any bugs crawling up the pot will be stuck to it, and never make it to your plant :)...Also praying manisis work well with killing off other bugs...plus they are pretty cool looking :)

It looks real smokeable from this side of the glass, how does it smell?
It smells like fresh wet paint initially upon cure onset, then just ends up really good tasting/smelling, a-bit-strong-for-my-energy-level, ganja. Very nice bag seed from alleged med-grow . . . it is/was. Easy cloner.
A coupla more pics?

1st-last grow under fleuros. 50 days. Mostly 3"-4" cured budz. Same strain.
2nd- finished product
