Needs Knowledge

Hey people.

Im new to the site and im curious shall we say about growing lol. Apologies but i really am a complete novice but am deadly serious about expanding my horticultural knowledge.

I know bits and peices - not nearly as much as i should or would like though.

This place looks great for tips and advice but its hard to take it all in and come up with a dedicated plan of action.

This is probably a pain in the ass for the more experienced out there but id really appreciate any help to get growing. The feminized auto-flowering seeds appeal and id like to go down this route first (sensible?).

It would be great if someone could advise me on things such as best setup, best seed choice and really just a run through of the best practice for the process.

Ideally im looking for maybe 1 or 2 to start with with a fairly quick turnaround time. Hence my intrest in the autoflowering.

the best setup.. well thats really what works for you. ive used cfls in the past and they work, but ive moved on to HID (high intensity discharge), so i use cfls for seedling and early veg and then i switch to 600w metal halide and later on for flowering, high pressure sodium..and seeds is really up to you too, ive had autoflowers before and theyre easier than photoperiods but they finish quicker..the only upside was not having to change my light cycle..id say if youre just starting out use bagseeds for a bit, and if youre hard up on cash use cfls too..itll work. good luck.
