Need Urgent Help With A Hot Box.

Hey guys, i recently started a stealth grow in a rubbermaid but had to move to a dresser grow. i have 2-80mm computer fans, one is an intake fan and one is an exhaust fan. they arent doing the job quite right though. the fans are on a top level of the drawer while the plants are about 2 feet underneath with some lights in between them.

i dont have a thermometer but im sure the lights(CFL's) generate tons of heat.

my hand feels warm underneath the lights.

the only plan i can think of is upgrading my fans to 120mm fans or just plain add them. i have the fans on a timer that runs with the lights but im thinking that i can just run them 24/7 or somewhere close to that to keep constant air circulation.

any suggestions?

Your intake fan needs to be near the floor. If that doesn't cool it enough, you may try using both fans for extracting hot air and go with a passive intake down low.

It all depends on your ambient temps.....if your ambient temps are too high then the only way to cool the dresser is to exhaust your hot air to eather outside or another room in the house......since i already know you probably arent going to do that id say your not going to ever really fix the problem....good luck though

i think im going to just move the fans and fix them to the sides of the walls pointing down towards the plants to maximize airflow to plants
