Need To Flush But Soil Very Wet, Please Help

Hello again everyone,

ok here is the newest problem and I really hope some of you could please help with this because I might loose the whole thing.

It has been raining here in NY for a few days now and although I put 4mil clear plastic over the girls to keep dry...it is still moist and cold outside.

The problem...Instead of starting to flush them...I gave the girls 2 tbsp/1 gal water a day ago and then relized it was dumb and should have stuck to the plan of flushing.

'How To Fix'...Does anyone know how I might be able to dry out the soil and start flushing it? I feel if I just start to flush it now, it will be too soon and start to root rot. If it was not cold or raining here like it is, then I would not worry but the way things look...it could take 4 to 5 days or longer for this soil to dry out.....PLEASE HELP....I've started to have horrible nightmares. (Yes, I know I'm a big dumb shit for doing this...yes I know)

Please Help ASAP,
Jon

PS: My setup is outside, in pots which can be moved and also I have a shed near by, incase anyone has an idea about putting them inside. I thought maybe putting them in there with a elect heater and spot or flood light...I just dont know what to do.

move them in the shed once nighttime comes, get some CFLs, and make sure you don't let them get too cold. we're supposed to get our first frost TONIGHT...according to weather.com...

Thanks for the info. You had mentioned about the cfl's. But how would you suggest I use them?

I'm really freaking out here, because they are very close to being chopped down and am not sure which would be the best method to flush them out, with the soil and weather being the way it is.

Should I just leave it be and dont water or feed it again and just chop it down in a few days...or just flush it even thu the soil is moist...or move it into the shed for a day or so with the cfl's and an elect heater...PLEASE...any ideas on what I should do before I chop them?

Here is an update on the pics:

Thanks,

Jon

chill man...put them in the shed at night with the heater no lights then back out in the morning do a 12\12 light cycle, like 7 am to 7pm.cover them with the clear plastic if its raining if u want and just water them as much as u can to flush.the rain will help flush them a bit to.as long as theres no bud rot your all good just chill. chillllllllllll :)

what strain is that? i wouldent worry about root rot that much man. I would just flush the pot like regularly. I mean if u think about it you are supposed to use twice the gallons of water versus soil so the soil is going to be soaking wet anyways.

As expected this forum comes thru with some great advice...thanks so much. The reason why I was sooooo nervous was because I have read some horror stories about over-watering and cold temps.

I know you said its ok but I just want to be sure I understand what your explaining.

So, even thu the soil is moist/wet already and its cold outside...it would be ok if I flush the plant everyday...until the day I harvest...correct?

Lastly...does it matter what time of day I flush, morning afternoon, or night?

Thanks again so very much and I promise after these last questions are answered, I will not post anymore to this thread.

I would say they ar already being flushed with amount of water they are getting. Just leave them, no more nutes and let them dry out. If there is risk of frost, bring them in. Are they close to harvest yet?

I agree, just use normal water in the morning let it dry over the course of the day, put them in the shed at night ... maybe even with a small fan. Then put them back out and repeat until amber.
