Hey all. I need to cool my tent down a bit I don’t want to get an Ac unless it’s a small tower one that can go right in tent or if anyone has any ideas please share. I have also seen this mini Ac on amazon for 60 that cools the air in small places if anyone has experience on this help me out please and thanks.

how big is your tent? what kind of lights? what is your exhaust setup like? are you exhausting into same room or to outside?

usually its easier to just regulate the temps the room is in than for an AC inside the tent.

those mini acs are like swamp coolers they will raise your humidity and not do much for temps. they are only useful for like your desk so u can cool yourself off at work or something with cold air but they don't actually cool down a whole room.

4x4 tent. 2 tsl2000 lights and an Ac infinity t6 and 2 fans in tent. Tent in basement with basement temp at 20c tent temps get to 24-28c sometimes which when I see it closer to 28-29c I know the plants are not liking it for I red 20-25c is best

set your ac infinity controller high temp setting to auto at whatever temp u want to hold at. set others to off. select on setting and set fan to 3 or 4. when your temp hits setting it should drop just below your set temp. i keep the high humidity setting at 60 also.

Tent in 20c, tent heat exhausted outside, 402 CFM sounds like you shouldn't have heat issues.

Reduce your wattage might help but there's no reason to buy an AC if your basement is 20c, that's where I'm at a lot of times and works great.

Will filter help or is it just my settings possibly. And can u give me more detail on what u think will help me with Ac infinity please

If you are peaking out at 28 it’s a bit high for led but it’s not crazy. Are you seeing visual signs that the plants are unhappy or do you know it’s a problem because you read about it? If you are averaging 25 peak briefly at 28 and you don’t see any visual symptoms of a problem then you might be overthinking it.

Ok so it’s not just reading. Has the temp been creeping up? One problem I have had is the filter sleeve on the inline fan filter getting dirty. It reduced airflow out of the tent and causes temps to creep up. Washing that thing will bring my temps down a few degrees.

I have heat issues in the summer but running my lights at night takes care of it, is your ambient basement temp lower at night?

7 seems high for 6in... i have t4 in 4x4 and have the on setting at 3.
the first setting is on. set to say, 3. scroll through settings to auto mode. set high temp to 78. set lo temp to off. hold both up/down buttons at once to do this. set high humidity to whatever u find useful. i set mine to 60ish. set low humidity setting to off also. i also turn off alarms.
so... now, the fan should kick on once it reaches your set high temp and turns off once the air temp has dropped by a few degrees. the fan will also keep your humidity steady in same fashion.
when your temps reach your threshold, it reverts to the ON setting until below threshold. I haven't quite figured out how to keep temp/humidity in range AND have the fan running constantly for negative pressure, unfortunately....
hope i haven't muddied your water too much.
