Need to change light schedule. Any help?

So I have my timers 11am off to 11pm on. I was wanting to adjust the schedule to more of a 9-9. What is my best way to go about it? I was thinking that the light on is the more specific part in regards to timing so I was going to manually turn the light on a extra hour early tonight at 10pm and then change the timer to go off at 10am. Then my lights would still be on for only 12 hours but does this less hour in the previous day's lights off period throw off the flowering phase at all? I could deal with it if I had to I'd just rather not. Any thought?

It's said that the better off giving it a longer dark time when doing a light change, and what I usually do as well, but I don't see any major issues from a one time light time change if it's just by a small amount of time. When it's lights off, reset your new on time.

Thanks guys that helps alot. So pretty much I run the lights on from 11PM to 11AM every day. So tonight @ 9PM I will just turn the lights on and run them for 12 hours till 9 AM. Really if you look @ it, either way theres going to have to be compensation for the time change. Doing it this way causes a 10 hours dark cycle followed by 12 hours of light then 12 more of dark and then your set to go. If I just turned the lights off at 9AM however that would cause a 12 hour dark, 10 hours of light and then 12 hours of dark agian to complete the cycle. I see So longer Dark Time would tell me option 2 is the better one

So option one goes assuming like this D=Dark L=Lights on

Option One:
^
12D, 12O, 10D, 12O, 12D, 12O\\\
\\\
option Two: >> option one is short dark change, option 2 is shorter light change
^ //
12D, 12O, 12D, 10O, 12D, 12O///

Thanks all

It ain't that big of deal. I use dark time to adjust your only doing 2hr change. Just reset your timer and go for it..
