Need someones opinion on what's wrong with my plants.

I have 6 plants growing right now under 200 watts of cfls. They are 3 weeks old and I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. The leaf tips started to claw down and brown, which led me to belive they had N tox. So I flushed them out after letting the soil dry and now they just seen to be worse, almost like they are over watered, which I'm pretty sure they are not because I only water when the first half inch to an inch of the soil is dry and the cups are lighter. I was going to transplant into foxfarm ocean forest and use dyna nutes, for I have had good results with those. What's your idea?

1 of 4 things IMO possibly. Root bound due to those cup in relation to their size, OR Ph; too high or low could be nute lockout, OR over watering; which in turn could also be affecting Ph. Lastly, heat stress. You didn't tell temps or airflow so I'm spitballing there.

Simplest thing to start with IMOis transplant and see how they do the next couple days.

Silly me i didn't look at the post date. By now you've solved the problem. If not all my findings lead me to firmly say root bound and a hint of overwatering.

Did you find out what's wrong with your plants?
I liked to have killed mine from heat stress, I've solved that problem. My temps were over 100f. I didn't have a thermometer, I do now. The temp in my tent is 80f with 400watts of cfl's. I started my grow with a 40 watt LED n switched to a couple of cfl's and after 3 months, I've barely got any size. Last week I put the 400 watts in all. I have cfl's at every angle. Did I mention that this is my first grow? Lol my poor plants.

Here's what they look like now. I'm growing new plants, I'm using Hempy buckets with perlite n vermiculite. They say you can't over water this way. Lol, we'll see. Lol

You're right, none of them are root bound, but they started growing n having black spots, it looked like a fungus, now the spots are a light color.

exactly!
this is what I find to be true here. the circumference of the container will affect the circumference of the plant even if its a 20 gallon tube of dirt. If all resources are provided in correct and timely manner these trees can be grown and flowered large in a beer cup.

your five gallon container will outgrow my one gallon container, given enough veg time, which is where the key to heavier yields, larger plants is, veg time.
I grow in five pails also but not for the size, 2.5 gallon square are my preferred but then I wouldnt get any time away, like weekends or mini vaca's, the five gallon buckets can support five foot flowering plants for around 4 days in a row without attention, plenty of time for in between breaks. In the winter time I'm available always and I typically use the 2.5 gallon containers , but need to water near every other day in flower with 3 foot plants, five footers tip the containers over to often

somebody here will chime in soon I hope, this looks to be ph issue to me, likely from your flushing, but plain watering when dry at the bottom not the top, and then some light feeding should do the trick I think.

I'm testing your theory, I've made a Hempy cup to see how big of a plant I can get.

cool, but it isnt my theory, long ago the wisemen figured this shit out.

you'll need to supply every needed resource in a timely correct manner too..... good luck with that, very few posters seem to tackle that part with success . cfl light wont penetrate deep enough to prove anything example, but a dozen will.....

I forgot all about this post already haha. Well guys if you ever see this, it turned out to be rootbound. I transplanted them and they are doing really well right now. They're almost a month into flowering now.
