need some quick knowledge

So yesterday they're was a power out for a split second, well I went into my flower room and noticed my portable ac is making my breaker trip out. Like a slow grinding noise. It was fine before. Everything was working perfect for a good month then the power went out and put everything out of whack. What I'm wondering is how long I can leave my plants in the dark is already been 24 hrs wondering if I'll be ok if I leave them off till I figure out my ac dilemma today so thinking bout turning on around 8pm is 7am now

they will be fine, just get the lights back on tonight, even if you have to shut a couple off to reduce heat,
