Hey guys how's it growin? Just wanted to ask what you guys think would be better. I have 5 small plants right now and 2hps 150watt lights and 1mh 175watt light. (On a budget). So I was wondering do you think I should run all 3 at the same time or just the mh for now then the 2 hps for flowering? Please comment. Thanks

For 2 plants you could use just the 175w mh. I would personally use the mh and 1 of the hps's. Having an even light spectrum and more lumens would make bigger plants imo.

So your sayin throw one of the hps in because the 175 is only good for 2 plants. I think that's what I'm going to do. Thanks man

3000- lumens per square foot for minimal plant growth.
5000- lumens per square foot for moderate plant growth.
8000 and more- lumens per square foot for optimal growth.
The more light the better.

My temperature has definetly went up. It's at 81. Tryn not to let it get any higher. Any pointers on keeping the temps down. I got a fan on them and an exhaust leading outside. I think if I get fresh cool air from my cold cellar or outside maybe that would help.

I'd have to say its gonna grow quicker with more light. It cost more. On the other hand use fewer lights takes longer to grow and more time. Probly cost the same in the end, but one way it quicker than the other.

325w of even spectrum lighting is fine >.< Some people just use flouros for veg and make monsters out of them. An mh AND hps for VEG is fine.

Edit: As for your temps 81 is good imo. Low 80s to high 70s is a good daytime range. If you want it down though bringing in cooler air from a cellar would probably work fine.
