Need some info from some one using a dballast

Am buying a 600 watt dimmable tomorrow , and dont know what I should get for it to work properly . Its a Lumatek 600 wat dual volt ballast with Superlumens . The Ballast comes with a 15 foot lamp cord , but i dont know if i need a socket addition or does that come with these ballasts . Also what are the light company's to deal with that work well in these ballasts . Been going threw google for the last hour looking at all this , and all I am finding is the same ole same ole . One person arguing with another . All my stuff has to be ordered as the closest hydro store from me is almost an 8 hour drive away , and I dont really trust my car to drive 8 steady hours . Your input is all greatly appreciated

the socket assembly isnt usally included it is an addon, it just might be included though, i would check with where you grabbed it
