Hey guys so I got 3 Colorado Chem feminized seeds going. They’re just about 2 months old and probably gonna switch them over to flowering here pretty soon cause it’s time to pack the setup up and get out my parents crib lol. So they’ve been under 400w MH for these two months and amped up to 600w for the last 3 days now switched to 1000w tonight and raised the light. Average about 80 degrees in the tent under the light and humidity is usually 55-65. Lost my pH tester but they’re very healthy looking so no need to worry for that yet. These babies have been fed with good nutrient mixes and the whole 9 yards I got everything you can think of. Anyway back to where I need help. So I’m usually on top of my game during my grow ops but just had a lot of shit going on this summer and haven’t been as dedicated as I’d like. I’m getting ready to have to pack up here in a few months so just want to maximize my yield and it’s a little late for LST and very new to scrog. If someone could give me a very technical way of how to go about this from the very start that would be greatly appreciated. Plan on switching over to my HPS to flower as well. Thanks!

Agree with above. No need to have someone re-write it. Google is. Many ways very similar. It is really dependent on strain, pot size, grow space.... let me know if you need mine or poi terms, but basically, top two times, lst, one the height of your screen, keep pushing plant under, let it spread out. 1/2-3/4 full canopy for sativa, then flip, almost 3/4- full for indica, then flip. Keep plant under screen until stretch is done, then just watch... it is a marvelous sight when it works!

Yes digs99 has it right. LBH scrog tutorial is a must read if you want to learn how to scrog. That’s how I learned.

put a net over the top and push your new growth threw each available space

You could always ask your parents what to do. Or, don’t grow at your parents house lol.
The way I worded it may of came across like I’m a little kid and my parents don’t know but my parents are well aware of what happens in the basement and are fine with it that’s not why I’m getting out I’m actually relocating for school. I’m pretty sure my parents would know something fishy with a good amount added onto their electric bill if they weren’t aware

Start with a few plants and train them wide and low to complete a canopy under a screen. Use the screen to train the branches out until the growth shoots almost full the entire space and then flip to flower. Scrogging is a book, not a paragraph that can be easily summed up, do a lot of reading and even more scrogg training and you will figure it out! Cheers

Thanks bruv! I’ve actually had it under a screen for about 2 weeks now since this post is old. They’re looking beautiful and I get the whole jist now. Idk if this is a rookie mistake or not but switched over to HPS from MH for flower the other day and went down before the timer last night the the hps was burnt out. You think it’s because I was running super lumen on the ballast and it’s a 1000w HPS? Ive been running super lumen on the 1000w MH no problem. But now another question is how much do you think the difference in light will effect my yield

To be honest, not sure about the burnt out light, possibly the HPS wasn’t rated to handle the supercharged power.

How full is your screen now? Room left for stretching during preflower I hope?
