need some help with AG please.

Hey guys... just some quick help please.
Well i am just starting out growing and am experimenting on all levels. I have 2 aerogardens(found them on craigslist for 20 bucks each) and some northern lights. The plan is to amass a multitude of mother plants and use the aerogardens for cloning maybe? probably not, kinda regret the AG idea because the resevoir is rediculously small but oh well. Right now i have 3 plants northern lights growing in soil and one in the aerogarden for experimentation.
so now that you have some background here is the probelm.-----------

i germinated my northern lights seed for 2.5 days, it cracked and revealed enough of the tap root for me to justify putting it in the garden. that was 2 days ago.... and it is still just sitting in the sponge haha! i have fox farm nutes but i barely put any in there. i mean so little i doubt it will do anything haha but still it is there. I took the lights off the AG and have 7-23 watt 6500K cfls shining down. Still nothing is happening. Any ideas? thanks!

well what i do know is that you really want to grow without the nutes for at least a month before using any kind of nutes even in hydro but you did right as far as germination process but yeah dont use any nutes for at least a month espically fox farm man those are top of the line nutes

What? How would you not like getting fed for a month? Don't listen to this utter rubbish!

Feed the plants nutrients as soon as you have roots showing, start with quarter the recommended strength and work your way up. You need a pH meter, and a ppm meter will come in very handy. Start the plants on a 400ppm the first week and then 600ppm the next week and so on.
