need some help on how to set up!!

I've seen great MH grows. I've seen great HPS grows. I've seen great CFL grows.

All the lights work, each has pros and cons.

I've seen experienced CFL growers pull higher quality, higher weight yields with less watts using CFLs properly. I trust you will too if you actually LOOK. There's so many prime examples! I wouldn't want to offend anyone here by non-inclusion because I probably haven't seen the best they can do.

Take every '1st/2nd/3rd timer' etc notion and dismiss it. Having a more powerful light isn't going to vastly improve any novices' success. Expecting perfection on your first try with anything is probably not a good idea.

I think it's a much more friendly introduction to growing. You can get the lights anywhere, they're affordable, replaceable, friendly(just plug them in!), and they perform excellently when used in conjunction with good practices and adapt to small & medium applications extremely well.

You could go ahead and agree with him all you want. No one has gone against what he said, so welcome to the club of people that agree.

When I grew small in a closet I used a 250w HPS and in 8 weeks (start to finish, 6 days veg, 7 weeks flower) I got 4.5 oz's of premium dense nugs.

I've grown Bubba Kush start to finish using CFL's and it took a little bit longer, but the results where similar. I don't proclaim to be a master of CFL's so I'm sure someone could've done a little better.

There's only one person here making claims that one is better than the other, and he's just wrong about THAT fact. One is not better than the other (that anyone has proven to me WITH RESULTS), each just has it's place in the growing world.

i have to of the ones in the box and three of the ones on the right. these are just ones i had laying around the house. and i have a long florescent light its a skinny tube.
