i have 20 plants going about an hour away from my house, I can only water them once a week due to my work shedual. is there anyway to keep my plants watered when am not around?

I've heard of 5 gallon buckets with small holes drilled in the side and planted near the roots but that would be quite a task with 20 plants. Make sure there's plenty of mulch and perlite in your soil and hope that it rains :|

you can get water crystals, silicates that will hold water for well over a week. these are a must for outdoor growing, if you can't check your plants.
