I thought it was the point of this whole forum to teach people to grow the best weed, guess i was wrong, it's about pandering to bullshit myths and saying nothing when new growers are talking myths as fact to each other.Because your responses close the door on the topic. People will be reading this thread for years to come, trying to figure out for themselves in this sea of bullshit whether to flush their plants or not. The part where you claim that the moderators agree with you, therefore you're right and you win -- that was just more of the bullshit in my opinion. So I challenged that notion... same as you challenge the notion that flushing is useful. I guess when you disagree it's stopping an epidemic (our hero), when I disagree it's trolling?
Go ahead and keep fighting the good fight man, obviously it's really important to you that nobody ever flush their plants again. Best of luck.
Pre-harvest flushing in soil IS an open and closed topic, it doesn't help AT ALL and infact hinders your plants... Are you retarded? Do you not understand this concept?
Allowing new growers to even entertain such a notion is wrong and not helping them at all.

I've grown multiple plants from the same mother (clones) and flushed a few of them, and didn't flush the rest. Harvested, cured, and absolutely no difference in taste or smoke. It's amazing how many MJ myths are seen on the internet and passed on without questioning the validity of them.
Now excuse me, I have to feed my plants grape juice so they'll taste like grapes....

Just to prove a point: I've been growing 20 years on this half acre of land that i own...and personally have so much experience growing that flushing is not necessary. I am also the president of the USA...a billionare...and have enough food to last me the rest of my life.
Now see...i just wrote a whole bullshit paragraph...but since we're on a forum you wouldnt knwo if im lying or not. Thats my point...people can PRETEND to be professional..when in reality their true skills will show through eventually.

Don't presume to know what quality I smoke. Different strains, years of growing under my belt, I think I know what is crap what isn't
Go ahead and flush, it won't ruin your crop, whatever floats your boat. But there are many here with practical experience...NOT internet BS....that have found flushing doesn't do shit for the end product

Won't ruin it is correct, but the extra zip or two youd gain in a large-ish harvest from correctly and adaquately fed plants (not starved plants) is a big price to pay just to be in the myth club.
Im not gonna argue anymore, but again OP, just try it out for yourself and don't be a lemming.

I personally have noticed that flushing doesn't help with the taste of my plants. My wifes uncle has been growing since the 70's, has some dank stuff doesn't flush. I don't see any commercial growers of any other plant that people taste/smell flushing pre-harvest, why wouldn't they if it helped? Wouldn't they want to have the best tasting and best quality product to bring them more customers? People tend to forget that Marijuana is just a plant. I made a non-complete list of some myths that I've heard of and the reasons why they are just myths and not good advice. Check out my sig for the thread.

Just make sure to feed them immediately after leeching or you'll give them deficiencies.
