need some advice, had a calamity

Hi everyone, i had hoped my first post would be better news than this one...ive got some problems...ive got a friend ;) that has about 15 large plants under 1000w hps with a 25 gal ebb and flow...they are about 6.5 weeks into flower when his jealous gf put an unknown base into the water (think it was liquid laundry detergent). well it was getting flushed that night while he was at work with 40ppm R/O water and some algae water treatment, and it flooded 2 times with with that and the unknown which was about 8.5 pH and 335 ppm...he found out immediatly when he came home and saw a buncha foam bubbles in the tank and he flushed with plain water immediatly for 2 hours....my question is do you think they are done for? should he harvest now or wait and see if they start turning to dust...there is a little yellowing and what looks like nut burn, but only on like 1 percent of the plant area if that...any help would be really appreciated, its his first crop and we love them like they were our kids!
 
can anyone offer any help? a lot of other things were destroyed or fucked up, she stole the dog and sabotaged a lot of things...really could use some advice, i have been reading and studying these forums and articles for some time so that i would not have any stupid questions
 
they are in 6 inch rockwool, yeah they are in a safe place, they are a little brown on the edges, and a few brown spots and the sun leaves seem like they yellowed a lot just in the last day....
 
:mrgreen:rinse them off sperately reall good and it should be fine if they fall over then harvest and next time punch mean girl in head !!
 
yeah flushed and changed the water again, the r/o is only 20 gal a day and there wasnt much stocked up, wasnt planning to get screwed like this...if they pull threw ill have to post some pics, its the first grow in hydro and im amazed at how good they turned out... i appreciate your help, ...ive got leaching chemicals too, will that help at all?
 
use tap water and rinse the rockwool and it should be fine like i said you only have a couple more weeks left til harvest what kind are you growing
 
ive got the 3x3 and the 2x2 and they do me just fine the tap water wont hurt them but there is still soap in the rockwool next time just use the clay pellets and laugh at the next time she pulls that again!!
 
there is skunk number 1, a real short fat little crystalized fucker that is just called BC, and serious seeds bubble gum...the bc is super short and dense, doesnt fit in real well with the other but it was the first grow with hydro and good seeds so tried em all lol...they are all sugar coated and smell all differnt, but delicious...the bc and bubble look decent, just some brown tips but the skunks have gotten some brown chunks...they are all supposed to be 7-9 week flower,and its been 43 days, so i hope they can hang in...they all have amazing roots and super thick stalks, i use some beneficials and enzymes and all that shit, mostly AN
 
you use 2x2 and 3x3 inch cubes? how big do they get? the owner of the local growshop always tells me to use 6x6 but probably becuase they cost more... got a 3X3 foot tray, like to maximize it if possible
 
now i have two flood and drains that are 2x2 and 3x3 some one on another one of my treads said to fill the tray up with those hydroton rocks and put your clones in the tray with no rockwool just plants its possible if you have a hydro cloner!!
