Need setup Ideas!

I'm moving to a new place and plan on setting up a medium sized grow. I'd like to have the entire grow in this 15'x15' room in the back of my house. This room is optimal because of its seclusion from the rest of the house. Keep in mind I have about $1500 I am willing to spend on this grow, and I already have some equipment.

The house is older, but it has 20 amp circuits. I haven't mapped the circuits or checked the wiring to make sure its safe yet, I'm doing this today. If the wiring isn't sound I'll need to run a new.

I'm starting my seedling under a 300w LED. Some of the equipment I have and the seeds I have soaking. Five of each, Qrazy Train, XXX, Grapegod, and Sin City Kush:

This is the aforementioned room.

Equipment I have:
4.5x4.5x7.5' grow tent
General Hydro nutrients
300w LED
8'' inline fan w/ speed controller.
medium sized window unit A/C.

Equipment I need:
???
I normally run 600s because they only draw 5amps verses 9amps from a 1000watter, but I'm open to suggestions. The area that I live in gets very hot in the summer and has very mild winters so I need something that can be air cooled. I only have the one window and will need that space for the a/c, so I need suggestions for how to run my ventilation. This is a rent house so I would like to keep the hole cutting to a minimum.

Keep in mind, I'm very educated in construction, and have done a bit of wiring as well. Any ideas will be appreciated! I plan on doing a full journal of the build and the future buds :weed:

Any suggestions appreciated:idea:

Do you plan to have veg and flower rooms? Do you intend to use the entire 15x15?
I personally would start by ripping the carpet out of there, if you cut it carefully you can remove as one piece (careful not to drag it down the walls in the hallway) and then replace it if you need to, I know this is a rental and imo this would be better than setting up on the carpet and ruining it.
Also other than the heater on the floor, i do not see any ducting into that room, is this correct?

This is correct, no ducting in the room thus far. With the carpet out I could easily run ducting through the floor. This house has a Pier and Beam foundation, intake could be pulled from the cool air under the house and then exhausted into the back yard.

I've build separate veg and flower chambers in the same room before with 2x4s and Black/white poly. It has worked well in the past. Just want to get some fresh Ideas my brotha. I don't plan on using the whole room.

Seems like you have a good idea of your plans, anything in particular you were looking for? A vertical grow would work great for you, pull fresh air though the floor though the lights and out the attic, but that would take a hole.

Vertical would be sick. I certainly have the space for it. The only problem is I cant find a housing for a vertical cool tube. Does anyone know where to find a housing for a single 1000w lamp for a vertical grow? I can't believe no one makes these yet.

Anyway I think I'm going to go with 2- 1000w hps. Vented from the floor on one side of the room to the floor on the other side of the room. I have 3 20 amp circuits in the grow room, which should be enough for the needed equipment. For my veg room I'm going to use the LED, and I'll buy a 4' t5.

My dimensions so far:
Flowering section- 13'x7'
Veg closet- 3.5'x13'
work space- 6'x13'

The only problem I see is that my veg room won't have any air conditioning. The summers get so hot where i'm located that I will have to stop production in the summer anyway. Hopefully I can find an outdoor guerilla patch for this coming summer :weed:

If anyone has an idea that will make my room run smoother please chime in now!

Just a normal cooltube with no reflector is what you would want to use for a vert grow, if you need a link i am sure i can find one.
Your air idea should work well, pretty much what i am doing for the winter, well until i get the 2nd 1000 hung, then i may need to change mine a bit.
I would build a single environment for both rooms (or even all 3) pull air from the house, run it through the room and then out of the house, into the crawlspace (may create a pressure issue with your light set up though), into the house ducting, etc. Then you will have air conditioning in the veg room too.

O yeah, All the seeds cracked and are now in soil. (fox farm of) I couldn't get coco in my neck of the woods so I'm going with the tried and true. Ocean Forest has never done me wrong, and I think I'll recycle it for my outdoor garden this spring.

Could I just buy a regular cool tube with the reflector and disassemble the reflector part? I'm not sure about what your saying with the ventilation? Draw air from the rest of the house and then recirculate through the entire grow space then through the carbon filter and back into the house. This could work but the room next to the grow room is going to be a living room.

I think you can still make it work, could vent it out of the house too if needed, but i think you could make it exhaust into the main home and not have any issues, except some fan noise (i hear mine shaking my whole damn room after moving it last night, have to rubbermount it today). Then you can heat your house for the winter with your grow!

I hadn't even thought about heating your house with the exhaust. I bet that comes in handy in your neck of the woodsbongsmilie

Yeah, works too well sometimes, my single 1000 wouldn't get my room into the 70's, had to redesign a bit. Tomorrow 1000 watt #2 goes in.

No shut down for 6+ months due to some unexpected circumstances, just started back up, then a buddy lost his place so i had to integrate his garden in with mine (last night), didn't get the light hung yet, will that tonight. I've had a few requests for pics, but my camera is currently broken (damn kid got a hold of it) so no pics for a little while. I will hit u up with some if you are interested, but i will gladly explain most aspects of my garden with the exception of plant count......

I hate those unexpected circumstances. Haha plant count.... thats one thing I hated about growing in CO. Staying under 12 plants. Where I'm at plant count doesn't matter, cause your going to jail if you get caught either way.
