Need relationship advice. Dealing with a mean controlling woman

You are like the first car bought back in high School, still going, used but reliable 2001 Honda Civic Auto, that will hold you over while you look for and test drive a few better models. You still have a lot of sentiment for it, some good memories with that car,you put it through a lot of shit and it just kept on going, but you have had it for a long time and don't want to be driving it forever. So you look for a new car but keep the old one around, it's comforting to have a spare car when you need it and the search for a new one might take a while, no rush though, the original car ain't going nowhere even if it does require a bit more maintenance to keep it going. But really all you can think about is the Big Black Stickshift you took for a test drive in the weekend.

The trouble is that when you look at the other end of Big Black Stickshift there is always a tranny there.
