Need info

hey guys,

im new and im preparing my first crop ever ordered some GHS "the church" and after some reviews im definitly not sure anymore if i did good choosing them.

Is there any special way to start them or its pure luck?

also if someone could give me a hint on some good nutes id appreciate alot

I don't know about the other part of your post, but I've grown in botanicare nutes. They are really easy to use and produce very nice fruits.

IMO, If you want the cheap stuff get the General Hydro nutes. If you want to just pay out your ass get advanced. what really matters is how you use them.

Awh the question of nutrients, it's as if debating religion, politics, or money in some social circles. Each & every person has a specific line of nutrients they prefer & it readily works for them. I started out with Fox Farm myself in a DWC system and it was an absolute BITCH to control the PH swings, nutrient lockout due to imbalances etc. What I didn't take into consideration is my tap water I was using is chlorinated at PH 7.0 with a PPM of 160 or so. Not a lot of TDS in the water per say but it's a nightmare to try and balance the PH with or without nutrients. I prefer the paper towel for sprouting seeds myself because as soon as I see a root roughly a half inch or thereabouts I pick the seed out of the paper towel and drop it into my Rumple Cloner with foil to hold it in place until it develops roots. I'm trying the Lucas Formula this time around with the GH line-up but if you do some more reading on here or anywhere else, you will find that everyone uses nutrients to their advantages & disadvantages. hermies... bag germ rate... i hope i get lucky with this first batch... other then GHS co any other good Companies around ive checked the dutch guys, Nirvana and others from Vancouver Seed Bank.. theres just too much stuff out there.. Took GHS cause of their videos but anyway..

You said it! I use the Humboldt premium 2 part. Havent seen much talk of it around here. I would start out with GH though. Starting out with something more powerful could do more harm than good to a first time gardener. Not to mention save a bundle. But to each his own...
