So I made the 1/4 recipe of subs supersoil on Xmas. Spent a lot of money made it etc and then let it cook. I then planted some babies but my grow got terminated by the old lady. So this whole time if left my garbage can full of supersoil but never touched it. Its sitting in my boiler room in my basement its warm but not cold or hot. Last I checked it was like a month or 2 ago and it was still moist. My question is if my dirt is dry can I addmore water give it some more time then use it or if iits Still moist just use it. Need to know if its still good!

It's just fine. Soil doesn't "go bad" unless it goes anaerobic. Dig down into the middle of the can take a big whiff. If it smells like rotten eggs, ammonia, or has any other foul odor, then it has gone anaerobic.

Even if it smells funky, you can still spread it out on a tarp to air out for a week or so, remoisten it if needed (moisture level should be that of a well wrung out sponge), and let it "cook" for another couple weeks to let the aerobic life regain control.

Out of curiosity, why was the need for this advice so I MMEDIATE???
because i have 500$ worth of soil sitting there and its starting to get warm out so outdoors soon. Also was about to spend 2k that I didn't have on rdwc and hydro supplies that I didn't need if my soil is still good
