ok guys im a bit confused with veg stage and flower stage whats veg stage and how much lights they need in veg stage and whats flower stage and how much light they need in their flower stage ?

im using a 400watts hps for my afs which are doing great i have lights on 18/6 cycle

VEG stage is the growing stage where you plant puts on height and size , flower stage is where your plant will produce nice flowers known as buds or aka weed . for veg u want a metal halide kit or 6500k florescents. flower u want high pressure sodium lights or 2700k fluroscents.

nahh ill be using 400 watts hps so shalll i leave it on for 18/6 for veg and 12/12 to make it flower ??
