Need Help with my trees !!!

I have 15 gorilla glue #4 trees that I vegged in a diy plastic tent. Recently I opened up the tent in preparation of adding two thousand watts to the already stepped up during veg thousand watts. My problem is I am in an apartment and the electricity is limited. I have inline fans that I can hook up instead of the wall ac unit I have running now; however ,though I will get a carbon filter I FEAR odors during flowering. The wall unit is hooked up to a plywood frame blocking the only window so I would hope to get vents I can fit inconspicuously. Any design and growth help would be appreciated.

Ok, I might need a little better clarification about the situation. Can you take pictures further back in the room, so I can see what the room looks like? What do you mean electricity is limited? One outlet? two? 110v I assume? How many windows? How many levels does apartment have? Which level do you live on? What are you temperatures inside the grow room?

When you hit flowering that is going to need a filter.

I grow in highrise condo in a high density urban area.

I lose a little bit of my smell and flavor because I use 2x the recommend amount of carbon filters needed for my size grow. (1500w total)

But my neighbors are clueless as they walk past the window to my growroom daily. They are literally 24 inches from the monster buds I'm currently growing.

My point is.
You are going to have to figure out how to filter it all.

Thanks there's four 10breakers for the hole house 2 30s at source. I have kept the room around 70 but now in flower put it up higher in anticipation of the additional lights. I live on the second level of a two story apartment. Ihave cool tubes for three of the four lights I plan to run. The window is around 4'×6' but only has the 2'×4'' opening near the wall unit. I am concerned about the appearance of the vents I run the ducting to. Also ventilation I want any air going out filtered I was hoping someone could clarify if it's possible to blow cold night time 55° and lower air over the tubes and not have an exhaust and just scrub the inside air with a carbon filter and fan.

Yeah I grow trees so as long aa the Branches are not harming growth I dont thin out. And I guess if you are thinning yours out it would be less stemmy. Trees get massive buds as long as they are fed correctly and you support the buds. I am possitive its gg4 because got it from reputable grower and smell has been dead on all gg4 I have smoked since week two of veg. You questioning genetics just assures me I chose the right strain.

Yeah I know I have to get a carbon filter working on it now. I have a 14 inch vortex that I am trying to decide if I'm going to use for the intake or exhaust. Is there a way that I can use one fan for intake and exhaust while still having the air pass through a carbon filter.

I had a similar problem a while back. I planned on adding two 1K lights but was limited by electricity because of A/C, Inline Fans, Etc. I dropped down to three 400W, even though it sounds like little wattage and not enough bud growth, 3 lights will get you plenty of light spread and bud development when done correctly. Add a few osculating fans to blow across the hood to prevent hot spots over your plants. Air cool the lights to keep temps down and defoliate a bit and you'll be surprised! Good luck

This was my carbon filter setup for the longest time, air was drawn through the filter, passed through the hood and out of the room. Worked well unless it was summer

Umm, ok pal.. FYI.. we grow trees as well, 4k of light on each tree. And I can tell you that if you don't thin out the inners, your just growing popcorn. But whatevs.

Would LOVE to see this vertical dream garden though

The GG is a stretcher for sure, you have big internode spacing which says GG to me, just looked really bushy that's all.

It's a great strain though, super popular but it will get played out soon I'm sure.

I bow down, I don't mean to be skeptical but you are pretty much who I was hoping to talk to. I kept them a little bushy because I figured since I don't have the light you do I will need more surface to catch as much light as possible. Great to know you see my dream because you are doing it. Can I thin out three weeks into flowering and do you think Its ok to add the extra light three weeks into flowering. Oh, and part of my internodal spacing is because I vegged under HPS to stretch and encourage more woody stems.

... you can always add more light...now would be better than later.

... we train to screen, not sure how you train. If you let it get too dense, like buds ramming into each other, then the backsides will be yellowish because they get pratically no light.

...this can be avoid by retraining in like week 5 or so. It takes a good SOLID 10 days for yellow leaves to turn green.

.. I know there is a theory of stretching for vertical but personally, I don't buy it. You only have so much intense light, so might as well concentrate your buds within that strong light.

... what you want to watch for are what we call "runners". Thin stems that shoot for the sky. Especially the ones in the middle of the canopy. They use a lot of precious starches and don't produce dense buds.

I'm not gods gift to weed, don't want to be. In actuality, there is no "best grower". There are 5 maybe 10% that REALLY know what the fuck is going on. And I mean years of different techniques, mixing their own nutes, getting tissue samples done, and a fuck ton, and I mean a fuck ton of research.

... I consider myslef in that 10% but who knows. I scaled up and scaled up and scaled up and now have a big commerical garden (obviously). Have I seen another vertical commercial setup? Nope. Was I told vertical would not work in a commercial setting? Yup.

It's kind of funny in OR. I sat next to this guy in a recreational kick off meeting with the olcc. He was so excited about his "warehouse". It was a 40x40 pole barn with nothing in it. He already bought 200 led lights he told me... and they are going to put lights underneath the canopy. "I expect to see a 10-15% increase in weight, I'll post the results on utube". Then he was going on about curing "in barrels full of nitrogen" "you see, I'm a hydro geologist, we are throwing all kinds of science at this"

I just smiled and said "sounds pretty sweet, I mean barrels full of wet bud in a sealed barrel.. what could go wrong"

Didn't mean to do that... Sorry.. Stoner fingers.. Hit wrong button. Get air duct work run it up through the house to attic 2 filters basic one at the start... Scented one at the end... Change every 2 Grows or cycles I call them...

Be careful with exhausting into the attic, it can blow old mold around and create even more mold quickly. Try to ensure it is escaping somehow.
