So a number of years ago I was gifted a cut of what was labeled Obama Kush, at the time the genetics were unknown and there wasn't ANY information around about it. The plant looked similar to a Bubba or LA Conf in structure (big wide dark leaves) and remained short and bushy like a typical kush strain does. I had to pluck some fan leaves to get good light penetration, again like a typical Bubba cut. The meds turned a dark purple almost black in color (I was told hence to Obama name) and were covered in crystals. There were a few hues of green, but mainly purple and covered in trichs. It was an 8 week strain, at least for us it was. The yield was alright, but the quality and the genetics is what I am after.
A year or two ago I got another cut of Obama Kush that was definatly not the Obama Kush I had grown before. This cut was tall and not purple, more like an OG or Sour D structure. It was a good cut, but we only ran it twice before moving along. If anyone has access to the cut of Obama that I have described above I would really appreciate the help. I have plenty of pictures of the plants in veg, flower, and dried meds for so a person can know for sure that the cuts are the same. I got ahold of the origional person that I got the cut from, but he's crossed the orig with a bunch of other dank genetics and now no longer has the orig cut. So although I may have access to some amazing crosses, it's the origional Bubba style Obama Kush pheno I'm after. Thanks in advance and you can private message me if that would be easier.
